Cultural Competency Curriculum
"Going Beyond Nice"
The Lesbian Community Care Project (LCCP) at Howard Brown Health Center is pleased to announce an online version of its "Going Beyond Nice" lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) cultural competency curriculum. This online introductory course addresses some of the health care concerns and barriers for the LGBT communities.
This course is offered free of charge and takes approximately 1 hour for completion. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) of 1.5 will be accredited to medical and mental health care professionals completing the online test with 80% correct response rate.
LCCP is proud to offer this opportunity in collaboration with the Illinois Department of Public Health, Office of Women's Health and in partnership with the Alliance of Chicago Community Health Services.
