» email Lisa

Lisa, a clinical social worker, supports lesbian, bisexual and queer women as they access care at Howard Brown - now an Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program Lead Agency. Before joining LCCP's program, she worked for more than two years providing care to individuals who are living with HIV as a case manager at Howard Brown. Lisa is also a post graduate fellow with Live Oak, where she practices individual therapy and facilitates trainings on issues relating to working with the LGBTQ population.

Educated at the University of Michigan School of Social Work, Lisa has training and experience working with a variety of LGBTQ related issues, including individual and family clinical practice, gender issues, sexual health, and domestic violence. Her interest in women's health began at Oberlin College, where she was active as a trainer in a women's health seminar. In graduate school, Lisa not only worked as a domestic violence counselor, but she also assisted the Intersex Society of North America in researching quality care for individuals receiving medical care, and was involved in a clinical preceptorship in sexual health.
